About the event

The Warren Buffett Cup will be held for the first time in 2006. The hope is that, like the Ryder Cup in golf,  it will become a permanent event held once every two years. The best players from each side of the Atlantic will engage in a regular challenge match conducted to the highest levels of sportsmanship.
